A parade celebrating diverse identities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Since its first edition in 2023, Des Fils et des Mains (sewing threads and hands) has established a fresh vision of fashion, far removed from elitist and normative representations. This participatory project places clothing at the heart of a collective reflection on cultural, bodily, and gender identities. More than just a fashion show, it is a celebration of diversity, highlighting the personal narratives woven into each pattern, each cut, each color, each texture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For over two years, professional and amateur seamstresses collaborated to create a unique collection, reflecting the diverse identities and heritages of its creators. Each piece tells a story, carried by the hands that shaped it and the inspirations drawn from around the world. The garments are not merely objects: they embody memory, assertion, and self-expression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A synergy between three committed associations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This project was born from a meeting and a desire to work together. Three Bordeaux-based associations decided to unite their values and creativity to experiment with a new way of working together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
